Wayne and I have been with Gulf State for well over 15 years now, and would never think of changing banks. When I walk through the door they all yell HI GINGER. Everyone always ask how Wayne is and the girls. Every time I call I get to talk to someone right away. When we need a loan for a new toy we call in the morning and get the call back that same afternoon asking when we want to come in and sign the paper work. If our daughter has a problem with her account (which is ALL the time) I call and get it taken care of right away. We would be lost with out them in our lives they are FAMILY with a big F!

My name is Ivette and my husband is Luis. We have been members at Gulf state for over 10 yrs.. Our experience has been awesome!! I love how everyone treats you with respect and like family.. I remember once, when our family took a vacation trip to N.Y, just 2 yrs ago, and we were using our debit card at various stores, and the next thing we know we are getting a phone call from the Credit Union. It was Susan i think, who wanted to make sure that we were in NY. using our card.. How great is that? What bank does that for you? No one.. We get called frequently when someone tries to cash a check with a large amount, just to make sure it was a check given out by myself or my husband. Everyone at the Credit Union are awesome!! Each and every time we are received with a great smile and attitude, and that alone is all worth coming to Gulf states.. Kudos to all of the great employees for a great job done.. to name a few, Regina, Rosa, Susan, Joan, etc.. They are allll great!! I wouldn't change my bank for nothing in the world!! :) You guys ROCK!!!

What can I say about Gulf States Credit Union that members don't already know. I have been a member of the credit union for more than 10 years. We became member initially because it was in coordination with our current employer. Being with a credit union is always a good thing, but being a part of Gulf States has definitely effected my life, in more ways than one.
First off, the staff. They are consistent and friendly; it truly is a pleasure to drive up to the window or just walk into the bank and see a friendly face that REMEMBERS YOUR NAME! They know who you are and they greet you; they ask about my children and they are always efficient. You can ask any of the bank members a question and they will provide an answer! (Thanks Regina, Joan, Susan and Rosa)
Secondly, the benefits of being a member. I have financed two cars through Gulf States, they made it possible for me to buy my son a car when he was 16 and he is still driving it today. Gulf States currently hold my current car loan and I wouldn't have it any other way. I am set up with automatic payments and the process of applying and qualifying for a loan is simple; you just visit the website.
Lets not forget the convenience of the annual Christmas Loan! That benefit and program has my holiday stress free. During these last few years of economic hard times, you don't ever hear the words "well my CREDIT UNION made my Holiday" but Gulf States does. Its truly a family friendly bank institution! I know that my children cannot thank Gulf States enough for making our Holiday complete every single year - So thank you!
Third, my kids. They both have accounts at Gulf States Credit Union. My son who is gone to College out of state has no problem banking with his debit card and making deposit at shared branches is simple. I have relocated from the Orlando to Virginia and I continue banking with my favorite credit!

I have been a GSCU member for 15 years. I have a savings and checking account and have had several auto loans over the years. It is such a pleasure to bank at Gulf States because everyone is so friendly and addresses me by name; I feel I have friends here. Gulf States also has such a nice relaxed atmosphere, not like other banks with a stuffy atmosphere where you seem to need permission to access your accounts.

Gulf States Credit Union, is special to me, as my dad worked for Fl. Gas Co., when the credit union was begun. He was one of the "original" members of the credit union and also opened an account for me at that time, hard to believe it's been 50 years.
